CIS championships: Guelph sweeps banners again, Brown and Brunsting golden
QUEBEC CITY (CIS) - The Guelph University Gryphons once again dominated the CIS cross country championships Saturday on the historical site of the Plains of Abraham sweeping both team banners for a record third straight year. - November 8 2008

The 40 year old All-Canadian
QUEBEC CITY - Marilyn Arsenault, the 40-year old first year runner on the UVic Vikes cross-country team, earned CIS First Team All-Canadian status after a sixth place finish at the CIS Championships. The Victoria native paced the Vikes to a sixth-place team finish. - November 8 2008

Gryphons Dominate CIS Championships
QUEBEC - The Guelph Gryphons cross country team dominated the CIS Championships winning both team titles. The women's team made CIS history winning their fourth consecutive National title. Meanwhile on the men's side the team earned their third consecutive title, and ended a 31 year CIS individual title drought as Matt Brunsting took home the gold medal. - November 8 2008

Dinos defend conference cross country titles
CALGARY - The Calgary Dinos successfully defended their Canada West cross country titles Saturday, reclaiming both banners on the Plains of Abraham at the 2008 CIS Cross Country Championships in Quebec City. - November 8 2008
